A comprehensive training program aimed at strengthening Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) will focus on organizational management, policy advocacy, and gender responsiveness. The initiative will establish selection criteria for CSOs based on factors like the number of waste workers, geographical reach, and engagement. Participants will attend interactive workshops designed to enhance organizational capacity and advocate for women's rights, culminating in visits to Material Recovery Facilities in Bharatpur. This two-day event aims to foster collaboration and empower CSOs for impactful community engagement.

And as the part of Project CAP Green Circuit marathon, the Volunteer for Change (VFC) youth cohorts are preparing for the November River Clean Up Campaign in Lalitpur and Hetauda. This campaign marks the second river clean-up effort in Lalitpur Metropolitan City and the third in Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City, showcasing the commitment of local youth to protect the rivers. 
As part of the Green Circuit Marathon, this event will contribute to a total of 14 river clean-up campaigns organized by VFC across all seven municipalities. In addition to cleaning the rivers, Waste Smart Schools will conduct awareness programs, educating students and the community on effective plastic waste management and the importance of protecting our environment.

The Enterprise Management, Gender-Responsive, and Occupational Health & Safety Training is scheduled for March 5, 2025, at Kapan MRF, Kathmandu. This training aims to equip waste workers and the operational team with essential skills to enhance PET recovery, generate revenue, and ensure long-term sustainability. By promoting a circular economy model, this initiative not only contributes to environmental conservation and plastic pollution reduction but also creates economic opportunities.
